BIOGRAPHY
Turnstile is a five-piece band based out of Atlanta , Georgia . They play a wide variety of music and because of their instrumentation are able to play many songs that most band would not be able to play. Turnstile does not cover the usual songs that are covered by other bands. They play songs from the early 60's to the present. Turnstile covers mainly bands from the U.K. but also play many popular American songs by popular American artists such as Johnny Cash and the Charlie Daniels Band.

MEMBERS
Ashley Collins: Lead guitar, acoustic guitar, mandolin, lead and harmony vocals. Ashley is originally from Crawley , England . He played in many bands there (a local Punk Band, Intensive Care, who played with the UK Subs, GBH, The Business, and other popular bands at the time). After leaving England , Ashley moved to Spain and formed a band. They played for four years together and worked with a band that came 3 rd in the Song for Benedorm contest. Spent a few more years playing around Europe and then moved to America and formed the band, The Charms who played all over the country, won (2) local music awards at the ALMA 'S in 1998 and then he formed Turnstile in 2006.

Justin Hartley: Electric guitar, acoustic guitar, keyboards, lead and harmony vocals. Justin is originally from Youngstown , Ohio . Before joining Turnstile, he worked in a band in Atlanta for several years with his brothers and played many local venues.

Eric Toomsen: Violin, keyboards, harmony vocals. Originally from Des Moines , Iowa . Eric began playing the violin at a very early age, and is classically trained. He studied music at the Berkeley College of Music in Cambridge , Massachusetts . Before moving to Atlanta , Eric worked in many different styles of bands in Des Moines , Iowa (ranging from rock to Cajun). He moved to Atlanta and worked with Ashley Collins in The Charms for many years, playing out live between 2 and 5 times per week for over 12 years.

Mike Williams: Bass guitar. Mike is originally from New Orleans , La. Mike played the bass in various bands in New Orleans before moving to Atlanta and forming the band The Urban Shake dancers. The Urban Shake dancers were very successful in Atlanta and had a large following. After Chris Robinson saw them play live one night he invited them to open up with The Black Crowes which led to them touring with them for over 75 shows.

Chris McAvoy: Drums. Chris is originally from Virginia . He has worked with many different bands in Atlanta such as One Without, and Bell Jar. He has played various styles of music with each band. Apart from working in bands, Chris also has done a large amount of studio session work, playing on over 50 different albums for various artists.
