BIOGRAPHY
Steve's music career almost never began. While learning T.V. jingles and 80's rock melodies on a cheap Casio keyboard he got when he was 10, he decided that he would rather be playing basketball instead of music. His mom bought him his first electric guitar at age 12, which he eventually took apart and was never able to put it back together again.
It wouldn't be until the acoustic guitar that his older brothers was unsuccessfully learning, was left on the sofa in their living room that Steve would realize what he truly loved to do. Entertain. Acoustic guitar and singing came very natural and easy for him. And with the help of some music loving friends and paying some serious dues , he learned the tools needed to do what you need to do to make a life of it. He went through handfuls of high school and college bands, and then decided to break off on his own. Playing at nearly every club on the north side of Indianapolis , Steve made a respectable name for himself, but realized that it was time to move on. He decided to make the move down to Atlanta , GA , in 2003 and can be seen in many different venues, as well as with a variety of bands. Most notable is the project with the Andy Kropf Band, which he has teamed up with Mark Kovaly and Andy Kropf to co-write some sensational songs.
